The playing space is a table or other flat surface.
If you don't have a free table, draw a mini football pitch on the ground - a rectangle measuring approximately 100 cm x 70 cm and mark the goals on the opposite, shorter sides of the pitch.
Prepare 2 coins of one size (these will be our football players) and one smaller coin (the ball).
Place the ball in the middle of the pitch and the players on both sides of it.
Give each participant a comb or other object with a similar structure.
Air hockey can be played in teams or individually.
The person designated by counting has the first move.
Her task is to hold the comb in her hand and hit her football coin with its back so that it bounces the ball coin.
After one of our rebounds, our competitor has the move and so on.
In this cycle, we move around the pitch until we reach the opponent's goal.
A goal is scored when the coin-ball passes through the field marked as a goal.
After a successful action, we return the ball and players to the starting position (center of the field) and continue the game.
The game continues until one of the players/teams scores a certain number of goals, e.g. 10.
