The game takes place in a wooded area. One person has his eyes closed and counts from 20, while the others hide among the trees. Then the counting player opens his eyes and tries to find as many people as possible, but he cannot move.
Choose a person to be the seeker.
The selected player stands with his eyes closed and starts counting.
The others hide.
The seeker counts aloud from 20 to 1, saying: "Twentieth pine, nineteenth pine, eighteenth pine...".
When he says "first pine", he opens his eyes and, without moving, tries to see the people hiding.
If he notices a participant in the game, he must say his name as quickly as possible.
When he can't see anyone else, he shouts, "Pine!"
Unfound players emerge from their hiding places. The game starts again, but this time the seeker counts from 19.
Noticed players are eliminated from the game.
The seeker can only take three steps in one direction.
